The Clueless

Former Vice President Charles Ayala

Members Rebuilding TWU

Jack Blazejewicz, you were quoted by The Chief-Leader (November 12, 2010) of saying, “I was charged by the previous administration and brought in front of the whole Executive board, as per the Constitution, for my trial. Where were you then, Percival? Why weren’t you writing letters to The Chief-Leader saying how MY trial was worrisome or that Roger Toussaint wasn’t interested in impartiality? Oh that’s right; Roger and his cronies gave you a job.”
Jack, if the constitution reads:

ARTICLE XX.Trial of Members SECTION 1: In the event that the Local Executive 64 Board decides that the charges warrant a trial, the Local Executive Board shall elect a Trial Committee of three members in good standing and shall designate a member in good standing to present the charges before the Trial Committee.

 In addition, the Bylaws reads:

Amendment #13 Judicial Panel (c) The Judicial Panel Chair or Co-Chair shall serve on each trial committee. With respect to each trial, the Chair shall designate the identities of the three members to serve as trial committee members and one to serve as an alternate each time charges are referred to a trial committee by the Executive Board. Such designations shall be subject to Executive Board approval. Should a trial committee member be successfully challenged for cause, the Chair shall appoint another member subject to Executive Board approval. No trial committee member shall come from the same division as a charged or charging party. Union paid staff shall not serve on the Judicial Panel.

You bring up the fact that Percival Thomas did not say anything when Roger did it to you translates, that you and the Administration you work for believe that two wrongs make a right.  This is a clear indication that in your view the current administration is mimicking the same behavior they campaigned against.

As per you Steve Downs alleging that you did not know what Mr. Chris Tobin was taking about regarding the ten percent increase in salaries, either Steve has become absentminded while working for his administration or he’s forgotten how to compare the 2009 LL2’s to the 2010 salaries that were established when John took over.  (The attached comparison exhibits a bump up in salaries)
Let’s remember it was John who went around saying that the TWU Staff did not take the 2% increase (received by the members).  Why would they, John increased their salaries by more than 2% and some as much as 10% (as per the “Salaried Staff at the Union document).
Steve who are you and the current administration trying to fool?  Here are few examples:
Previous Chief of Staff, Rodney Glen $88.577 vs. Current Chief of Staff, Harry Willis $ 91.607
Previous Track Staff Rep., Leroy Jardim $ 81.690 Current Track Staff Rep., Jack Blazejewicz $ 91.607
Previous Line Equip/Signal Staff Rep, Ricardo Figueroa $76.040.00 Current Line Equip/Signal Staff Rep, John Chiarillo $ 91.607
Previous & Current MoW Structure Chairperson Richard Rocco $ 12.220+ T.A Salary approximately $ 58.240 = appx. $70.460 vs. Current Salary $91,607
Previous Stations Chairperson Jamel Chisolm $79.818 vs. Current Stations Chairperson, Derrick Echivarria $91.607
Previous Edward Dos Santos $74.325 vs. Lee Ireland 91.607
Previous & Current Political Action, Vernon Thorpe previous Salary $ 80.011 vs. Current Salary $102.007
Steve Down in one of your letters you responded to Chris Tobin with the following: “What about the 10% raise?  When I asked a few of the hecklers who got the raises, they couldn't answer me.  So I did a little investigating on my own.  I asked RTO VP K Harrington what his salary is and he told me $98,000/yr. Compare that to what VPs made in 2009.  Charles Ayala (he was MoW Vice-President) had a salary of $101,969.  Stations VP Andreeva Pinder made $99,935.  It looks to me like Samuelsen reduced the salaries.”
When comparing these salaries where did you get your information from? Tony Utano (current MoW Vice-President) salary is $ 102,007.  Maurice Jenkins (current Stations VP) salary is $102,007.  Where is the reduction Steve?
