College Point TWU Member speaks on the facts; “Why Three Bus Drivers Were Suspended” 

I am a Bus driver from College Point and will reveal what John Samuelsen and his incompetent administration is not telling you about in his recent flyer regarding the members that were suspended from College Point.  The fact is that the reason these three bus drivers were suspended was that they were told, by the very people who are nominated to protect their jobs, not to take the bus out.  What they did not do is advised them to document the defects of the bus on the “OVCR Card” prior to taking the bus out of service.  Unfortunately the bus drivers put their trust on their inept union representatives and found themselves “SUSPENDED”.  John Samuelsen is boasting about placing them on his payroll, Well John, this is the least you could do since your incompetent team were the very ones responsible for their suspension.

Recent information has revealed that the three Bus Drivers will be returned back to work soon; however this suspension was completely unnecessary. Be aware of the incompetent reps that are representing you.  Uninformed representatives may place your jobs on the line.  Know Your Rights prior to placing a bus out of service  always fill out the OVCR Card prior to leaving the depot and if any defects are discovered document them on the card accordingly.
