John Samuelsen Flip Flop on
Solidarity Fund
On March 4 2011, in the Chief's article John Samuelsen is quoted saying " Mr. Samuelsen is recommending to the executive board that any money remaining be returned to members. “We’re going to reimburse proportionally to who contributed what,” he said, adding that no one had contributed more than $130." During May's Executive Board meeting Steve Downs an Executive Board member quotes John Samuelsen saying "Samuelsen, said that we could set aside a reserve to cover anticipated costs". This does not sound like a recommendation to refund the surplus that is in the Solidarity Fund. It appears is John Samuelsen doing whatever he wants again.
