Message from a Shop Steward Carpenter who's done his homework on the upcoming pick

 

Rocco is going around boasting about the upcoming pick when in fact it is one of the worse picks in Structure in the 18 years I have been working for T.A.

 

Last pick Renee, Karl, Lamanna and Ayala were able to reduce the Locksmith jobs to 28 excluding Buses. Rocco allowed management to increase the Locksmith jobs to 36 excluding buses. Rocco is going around saying that for the first time they are going to allow Senior Carpenters who do not have experience to pick a locksmith job, he calls it a locksmith trainee. According to the Locksmith pre-bid#16 qualifications you must have "Acceptable employee availability" to get the job. Nothing on the pre-bid reads “trainee”. WHAT THE HELL IS “Acceptable employee availability”.  Rocco you have been bamboozled again. Pre-Bid #16 should have been on the pick so a Senior Carpenter could walk up to the sheet and pick the jobs. Rocco repeat this same message for the tool crib pre bid. Don’t be misled by this sellout,  

 

The 2011 SME pick has the following languish for the Fire Inspection Gangs  (REPORTING QUARTERS SUBJECT TO CHANGE ACCORDING TO WORKLOAD) the 2006 did not. This give management the right to move you without paying what the contract require them to. Rocco sells us out again.

 

The shop stewards have given Rocco a nick name "Rocco Don’t Know" because every time they ask Rocco something his answer is he don’t know. He openly admits not knowing by going around saying that when he took over he had nothing to go by, that’s a lie.
